Lightel-KY Named to the 2026 Taiwan FINI 100
The 2026 Taiwan FINI 100 Companies list has been announced, with Lightel Corporation (Lightel-KY, 7717) named among this year's honorees. A company representative attended the 2026 Taiwan FINI 100 Awards Ceremony and Foreign Investment Forum held at the Grand Hilai Taipei on September 2, 2026, and accepted the award on behalf of Lightel.
Jointly organized by the Taiwan Institute of Directors (TWIoD) and the Corporate Development Research Center (CDRC), the Taiwan FINI 100 was launched in 2019 as Taiwan's first corporate award closely linked to foreign institutional investors. The program evaluates Taiwanese companies from the perspective of international capital markets, with the aim of identifying companies demonstrating strong fundamentals, sound corporate governance, and long-term investment value.
The 2026 selection process covered a total of 2,283 companies listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taipei Exchange, and Emerging Stock Market. Companies were screened through multiple stages based on criteria including market capitalization and increases in foreign institutional ownership, three consecutive years of profitability and positive revenue growth, as well as corporate governance performance. The final 100 companies were ranked according to the increase in the value of shares held by foreign institutional investors. Lightel's inclusion in the Taiwan FINI 100 reflects its solid operating performance and growing recognition among international investors.
Lightel has been deeply engaged in fiber-optic technologies for more than two decades, focusing on the research, development, and manufacturing of passive components for fiber-optic communications, fiber lasers, and satellite laser communications. As global deployment of low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite constellations continues to accelerate, Lightel's technology development in components for laser communication terminals (LCTs) has contributed to the Company's steady growth in recent years.
Lightel views its inclusion in the 2026 Taiwan FINI 100 as recognition of both its technological capabilities and corporate governance performance. Going forward, the Company will continue to strengthen its technological advantages and engagement with the international capital markets, while pursuing sustainable and sound operations to create long-term value for shareholders and investors.
